CARD REVIEW
The IRCTC RuPay BOBCARD is best suited for frequent train travellers who book via IRCTC and wish to earn good rewards and enjoy convenience. With low fees and generous perks — especially up to 40 RP per ₹100 on IRCTC bookings, lounge access, fuel surcharge waiver, and Smart EMI — it offers solid value for money for travellers. However, the need to link your card’s loyalty number with IRCTC account and the delayed reward credit (up to 60 days) may be mildly inconvenient. Also, some spends (like fuel) get surcharge waiver but don’t earn reward points. Overall, a strong value proposition for regular railway commuters and occasional shoppers.
